Electro-Treat Carona Treater
Ragland Printing purchased this Lectro-Engineering corona type unit for surface treating hdpe bottles for ink and label adhesion in 2004 from Mesa Industries, Thomasville, N.C. Mesa sent this 1985 unit to Electro-Engineering in St. Louis , Mo. in 1999 for a $20,000+ re-build job. Mesa returned the unit to Thomasville and ran it for one year until they shut down the printing operation in 1999. We have had the unit in storage at my plant in Eudora, Kansas since I purchased it from Mesa and I have not put it into production. We have never connected power to it. It basically is a new unit mechanically/electrically with only one year of operating time on it and it should provide 20-25 years of useful service according to Lectro-Engineering.

The shipping weight is approx. 6,000# and the dimensions are 6' W X 12'L X 8' H. The unit can be inspected at my location. This unit can be purchased at a very competitive price.
